The Run New Assessment flow allows users to launch a risk assessment against one or more AI systems or datasets using a predefined template. This three-step process helps ensure consistent evaluation of risks such as bias, privacy, quality, and more.
Step 1: Select Assessment Template
Choose a template from the list. Templates define the type and scope of the assessment (e.g., Bias and Fairness Assessment, Privacy Impact Assessment). Templates are tagged to indicate which type of entity they apply to—AI systems, datasets, or both.
Once selected, click Next.
Step 2: Select Entities
Select the relevant datasets or AI systems to be assessed. The available list will match the type supported by the template you selected in Step 1.
You can search or scroll to find the appropriate entities. Once selected, click Next to continue.
Step 3: Review & Confirm
This screen provides a summary of the selected template and entities. It shows:
Template name
Number and type of selected entities
Total number of assessments to be created
Click Create Assessments to launch the new assessments. These will now appear in the Risk Assessments Dashboard where they can be viewed, continued, or completed.
Notes
Only templates appropriate to your entity type will be shown during selection.
Each entity selected creates a separate assessment using the chosen template.
You can return to the assessment later using the Continue action in the dashboard.
