The Acknowledgements tab allows you to assign a policy to employees and track who has acknowledged it. This helps ensure that individuals across the organization are aware of their responsibilities and have read the policy.

Acknowledgement tracking supports transparency, accountability, and compliance with AI governance frameworks by documenting that employees have been informed of relevant policies.

Purpose

Acknowledgements confirm that assigned employees have read and accepted the current version of a policy. This step is often required by internal governance programs and external regulations as part of a defensible policy lifecycle.

Key Features

  • Assign Employees – Use the + Assign Employees button to assign this policy version to individuals across departments, roles, or teams.

  • Track Completion – The page displays total assigned, acknowledged, and pending counts, along with a real-time Completion Rate.

  • Acknowledgement Status – For each employee, view:

    • Status (e.g., Pending, Acknowledged)

    • Department

    • Assigned date

    • Due date (if set)

    • Reminder status

  • Search and Filter – Use the search bar to quickly locate specific assignments.

  • Delete Assignments – Use the trash icon under the Actions column to remove an assignment if needed.

Notes

  • Employees receive an email notification when they are assigned a policy to acknowledge.

  • Acknowledgement activity is logged and visible from this tab for auditing purposes.

  • Assignments are version-specific. New versions of a policy require new acknowledgements.

  • If acknowledgement is not required for a policy, this tab may be left unused.

  • For organizations using recurring reviews, reminders can be scheduled to prompt action.
