This release simplifies deployment, improves usability, and delivers enhanced reliability –helping you connect, analyze, and act on file share content faster and with less complexity.
Here’s what’s new:
- Simpler, faster deployment: Deploy FileConnect Enterprise as an OVA on your existing Windows or Linux infrastructure – no complex Docker setup or manual configuration required. Just spin it up and go.
- Modern, intuitive interface: Say goodbye to command-line tools. The new web-based UI makes it easy for both technical and non-technical users to scan, monitor, and analyze files through a sleek, user-friendly dashboard.
- Built-in reporting and insights: Visualize activity in real time with native dashboards and reporting. You can still integrate with Power BI if preferred, but most insights are now available out of the box.

Expanded metadata capture: Capture richer context with enhanced metadata, including the new “Author” field, one of the most requested additions from our customers.
