Product Update: RecordPoint MCP Server

  • Updated

We’re excited to introduce the RecordPoint Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, a new capability that securely connects governed enterprise data to any AI system or agent.

This gives AI systems permissioned access to governed records and metadata across all connected sources, enabling meaningful AI outcomes without exposing sensitive information or compromising control.

Instead of risky, custom integrations, organizations get a standardized, governance-first way to put trusted data to work in AI.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Instantly connect any AI to your data: Connect any MCP-compatible AI system to your governed data out of the box, without custom builds or long integrations.
  • Give AI the answers without exposing risk: AI uses your data to deliver accurate results while sensitive content remains protected.
  • Keep control, visibility, and proof of compliance: All AI access is permission-based and role-aware to meet security and compliance requirements.

With the RecordPoint MCP Server, teams can ask questions in plain language and receive accurate, auditable answers while governance, security, and compliance remain fully intact.

Instead of managing a sprawl of bespoke AI integrations that increase audit risk, the MCP Server provides a standardized, permissioned, and auditable way for AI systems to access governed records. This allows highly regulated organizations to move from pilot to production faster without relaxing controls or granting elevated access.
