Shadow AI Discovery – Microsoft Intune
The Microsoft Intune connector extends Shadow AI Discovery to managed devices, automatically surfacing applications with AI capabilities installed across your organization's device fleet so they can be brought under governance in the AI Inventory.
Once connected, RexCommand pulls discovered apps via the Intune API, deduplicates entries across devices and versions, and cross-references the list against a curated AI-aware application database — leaving administrators with a focused view of AI-relevant apps that can be selected and imported into the AI Inventory as Draft entries for review and approval. Discovered apps also feed into the User Risk view alongside Microsoft Defender, giving a combined picture of who is using AI services and which AI applications are deployed.
Scanning runs automatically every 24 hours, with up to 5 manual scans per day available for fresher data. This feature is available on the Teams plan.
