We’re rolling out a set of enhancements to the disposal review experience, so you can shape the view, find the records you need, and act on them without leaving the disposal screen.
Reviewing what is due for disposal has meant working with a fixed set of columns you could not change from the disposal screen, and on aggregation-level tenants, no way to search within the list. These updates make the review step easier on disposal pages.
Your tenant is configured for either aggregation-level or record-level disposal. Both are covered below, so read the section that matches your tenant. The approver changes at the end apply to both.
Here’s what’s new:
If your tenant uses aggregation-level disposal
- Configure columns from the disposal page itself: Add, remove, and reorder columns from the wrench icon on the table, on "Approval Pending", "Ready for Disposal", and "Disposal Failed" tabs. Your selection is remembered per tab and per user.
- Search and filter inside the disposal list: Use keyword search, field filters, and saved searches across tabs to narrow to the records that drive your decision.
If your tenant uses record-level disposal
- The same four tabs as aggregation-level disposal: Record-level disposal now uses Unactioned, Approval Pending, Ready for Disposal, and Disposal Failed, replacing the single actioned bucket, so you can see where each record sits in the workflow.
- Search and filter inside the disposal list: Use keyword search, field filters, and saved searches across all four tabs to narrow to the records that drive your decision
- Configure columns on every tab: The wrench icon is available on each of the four record-level tabs. Add, remove, and reorder columns inline; your selection is remembered per tab and per user.
- Manage approvals from "My Items": Administrators and records managers can open "My Items" on the “Approval Pending” tab and action a disposal approval directly, without switching roles.

Together, these improvements keep the review step on the disposal screen: you can configure the view to your own way of working, validate exactly what is in scope, and record your decision in the platform rather than in a spreadsheet.
These enhancements will be available to all customers by the end of October 2026.
