The Datasets tab allows you to link one or more datasets to a registered AI system in RexCommand. These datasets may be used for training, testing, or deployment and are a critical part of understanding how data flows into and through the AI system.
Purpose
Linking datasets to an AI system supports traceability, transparency, and compliance with data governance and AI oversight frameworks. It ensures that your organization maintains visibility into how data is used, especially when sensitive, high-risk, or regulated data is involved.
Key Actions
Link Dataset
Use the Link Dataset button to associate datasets from your organization’s dataset inventory with the current AI system. You can select from available, approved datasets or submit a request to link a dataset that requires review.Request Dataset
If a required dataset is not yet approved or listed, users can submit a request from this tab. Requested datasets may require separate review and approval before they can be attached.View Dataset Details
Click View Details next to any linked dataset to open its full profile, including metadata, ownership, usage purpose, and risk information. For more, see Dataset Details.Remove Dataset
You can remove a linked dataset from this AI system by clicking the delete icon. This does not delete the dataset itself; it simply unlinks it from this system.
Governance Notes
Each linked dataset can carry its own risk classification, privacy considerations, or compliance requirements.
Linking datasets is not required to begin system registration but may be required for approval, depending on your organization’s governance policies.
Datasets can be reused across multiple AI systems where applicable, supporting centralized data governance practices.
