The Policy Details View is the central page for reviewing and managing a published (or draft) policy. From this screen, you can access all metadata, linked compliance frameworks, version history, approval status, acknowledgements, and review activity associated with the policy.
This page supports policy transparency and traceability—essential elements in any responsible AI governance program.
Purpose
Once a policy is created, this page becomes the control center for validating, reviewing, and maintaining it over time. You can edit, mark the policy as reviewed, monitor changes across versions, and track how employees interact with the document.
Key Elements on the Page
Top Section
Policy Title – Displayed prominently at the top.
Version & ID – Shows current version and unique policy identifier.

Status – A tag showing whether the policy is Published, Draft, etc.
Edit Policy – Opens the policy in edit mode.
Mark as Reviewed – Confirms a manual policy review event, which is then recorded in the Review History tab.
Tabs Overview
Each tab exposes a different aspect of the policy lifecycle:

Aligning policies with frameworks like NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, or jurisdictional standards (e.g., Australian Digital Transformation Agency) helps demonstrate that your governance controls meet industry or regulatory expectations.
Versions

See what changes have occurred between versions.
Track who made the change and when.
Use the View Differences button to compare edits across versions.
Version tracking is crucial for audit readiness and change management.
Approvals
Manage and view the list of approvers tied to the policy version.
View who approved the current version.
Check status (e.g., Approved, Pending) for each approver.
Adding approvers is essential for pushing a policy to published status.
Policy approvals ensure the document has gone through formal governance before being released to assignees.
Acknowledgements
Displays how many users have been assigned this policy and how many have acknowledged it.
Review completion percentages.
Track individual attestation statuses.
Ensure coverage is complete before considering the policy fully adopted.
Acknowledgement is key to enforcing policy accountability across the organization.
Review History
This tab captures each time the policy was manually reviewed, including who reviewed it and when. Reviews can be logged using the Mark as Reviewed button at the top of the page.
Review history supports ongoing compliance and demonstrates that policies remain current and well-maintained over time.
Notes
Policy management doesn’t end at publication. Ongoing review, version control, and acknowledgment tracking are critical to maintaining compliance.
Assigning frameworks, gathering approvals, and securing attestations all occur from this view.
Every update to a published policy triggers the need for a new version and fresh approvals.
